Indesit was born in 1953 in Italy. The name is an acronym which originates from Industria Elettrodomestici Spirea Italia, where Spirea was the previous brand name.
Indesit and Missoni, a famous Italian fashion house, united to create Missy, the new washing machine designed to bring style, innovation and practicality to Italian homes.
Our communication creativity grew in power and expression when partnering with artists such as Giorgetto Giugiaro and Wim Wenders. The picture on the right features a shot of the Wenders’ commercial for Indesit.
We realised we were part of every family’s daily life and coined the brand idea “We work, you play”. Our brand idea: Life Proof, bring the convenience to you as the goal. Our products are always easy to use and enhance your living quality. Therefore, we can help you to face the changes and challenges easily and enjoy the life with your family.
